I started my career from The Indian Air force as a combat member of armed forces. Having served for about two years and being unsatisfied with the nature of the job I resigned from the service. Then I moved towards the studies and did a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from IIJNM, a unit of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, New York. As a part of my learning there in college I got to know about the very critical political and social condition of global world, especially of India. I joined TV9 News channel in Mumbai as a reporter but could not continue for a long due to my love towards the unprivileged classes in UP. I came back to Kanpur, my own city to write my much awaited book based on the acid attacks on women. Presently I am working in Dainik Jagaran (web portal) group, to earn my livelihood and am a key member of launching team of I-Next Live website.
